RULES OF THE GAME
• Red & yellow cards only apply for the game in which they are issued, unless a serious offence takes place (in which case the incident will be referred to be the committee)
• Unlimited substitutions
• Offside rule does not apply
• One (1) referee per game
• Each team to pay referee $2.00 per player before the start of the game. Failure to do this will result in a forfeit.
• All teams must be there 10 to 15 mins before their game starts to sign on.
7-A-SIDE: minimum of 8 players per team – maximum of 10 players
Gun Striker – each team will have a person with a vest on who will be their designated ‘Gun Striker’. If this person scores, they gain an extra point for their side (i.e. their goal counts as 2 goals). The extra point only applies to the first goal this person scores - after they score the vest is removed and they then become a normal player. Everyone gets a turn at being a Gun Striker; a roster will be done for each side, so you will know in advance who the Gun Striker is.
Match Card - Match cards will be done for each team, and will list players playing for that game and specify the team’s designated Gun Striker. Each team leader will sign the card at the end of the game to confirm the correct scoreline. If card is not signed by team leader it will be considered that the score is correct. If there are not 8 players listed on the match card for a team, the team will forfeit the game, even if they have 8 players playing.
MIXED COMPETITION - Each team must have at least 3 females on the field for the full game. This means that at anytime during the game for what ever reason there are less than 3 females on the field that team will forfeit the game. No excuses - it’s a simple rule.
