The official competition was scheduled to commence on this matchday, however this will not go ahead due to the recent inclement weather. The competition will take place at the same time every Wednesday until 10 February 2010.

21 October 2009

The first matchday was played (unofficial i.e. not counting for points), with four teams participating in the Women's competition (mixed between junior and senior), six teams participating in the Men's competition (with a potential seventh team not far off) and five teams in the Family competition. Women's matches will be played at 6:00pm, Men's at 6:30pm and Family at 7:00pm (under lights).

7 October 2009

The first registration night (7 October) was a success, with a total of 9 teams registered (1 in Junior Boys, 1 in Junior Girls, 3 in Senior Men, 1 in Senior Women and 3 in the Family division). 5 referees have also applied for the competition. At this stage, more teams are still required for the competition, especially in the Mixed Junior and Mixed Senior competitions. Registration will also be open from 5pm-6:30pm at the York Street canteen on Thursday 8 October.
